General Conditions of Sale

1. Preamble
The website bl-e.art (hereinafter "the Site") is published and operated by Éric Blanchot (Bl.é Art), French Artist-Author, legally considered a sole proprietorship.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the relationship between Bl.é Art and any natural or legal person making a purchase on the Site (hereinafter "the Customer").
Purchasing a work implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

3. Products and Availability
The collection includes all the works available on the website, signed by Éric Blanchot. The works may belong to different series and be associated with themes. This collection is offered in two editions:
- Signature Edition: Unlimited print runs, accessible to a wide audience.
- Empreinte Edition: Limited, numbered and signed prints, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Each product description outlines the essential characteristics of the artwork (dimensions, medium, printing technique, etc.).
Bl.é Art reserves the right to modify or withdraw products without notice.
4. Price and Payment Terms
4.1 Price
The prices displayed on the Site are in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (VAT), excluding delivery charges. Bl.é Art reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but the price applied will be the one in effect at the time the order is validated.
4.2 Secure Payment
Orders are processed through secure payment solutions offered by Shopify Payments (credit cards, PayPal, etc.). All transactions are encrypted and secured to guarantee the protection of the customer's banking information.
5. Orders and Validation
5.1 Ordering Process
The customer selects the desired artworks and confirms their order. They must then enter their delivery and billing information before proceeding to payment.
5.2 Order Confirmation
A confirmation email is sent after payment is validated. Bl.é Art reserves the right to cancel any order in case of suspected fraud or obvious error.
6. Delivery and Timeframes
6.1 Delivery Zones
Bl.é Art delivers in France and internationally. Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on the destination and the carrier selected.
6.2 Estimated lead times
Artworks are generally shipped within 2 business days of order confirmation. Delivery typically takes 2 to 8 business days for mainland France, and 2 to 15 business days for the European Union and international destinations, depending on the country. Tracking information is provided to the customer upon shipment.
6.3 Delivery problems
In case of delay, loss or damage, the Customer must contact Bl.é Art within 48 hours of receiving the order.
7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
7.1 Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from receipt of the work to exercise their right of withdrawal.
7.2 Exclusions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized works or works made on request.
7.3 Return Procedures
The customer must return the artwork in its original packaging, in perfect condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of an error by Bl.é Art.
A refund will be issued within 14 days of receipt and verification of the returned artwork.
8. Guarantees and Liability
8.1 Legal Guarantee
All works benefit from the legal guarantees of conformity and against hidden defects (articles L217-4 et seq. of the Consumer Code).
8.2 Limitation of Liability
Bl.é Art cannot be held responsible for indirect damages resulting from the use of the Site or from a delivery delay beyond its control.
9. Intellectual Property
All works presented on this Site are original creations by Bl.é Art | Éric Blanchot . Any reproduction, distribution or use without prior authorization is prohibited and constitutes a violation of copyright.
10. Personal Data
Bl.é Art is committed to protecting the confidentiality of its customers' personal data in accordance with the Site's Privacy Policy .
No data will be transferred to third parties without prior consent.
11. Disputes and Applicable Law
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the competent courts will be those of the Client's place of residence or the registered office of Bl.é Art, in accordance with applicable law.
These terms and conditions are governed by French law .
12. Amendment of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Bl.é Art reserves the right to modify or adapt these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time in order to take into account any legal, regulatory, technical or commercial developments.
Any changes to the Terms and Conditions will be published on the bl-e.art website and will be applicable as soon as they are posted online. It is the customer's responsibility to regularly consult the Terms and Conditions to stay informed of any updates.
In the event of an order placed before the modification of the Terms and Conditions, the applicable conditions remain those in force at the time of validation of said order.
