Tips & PRACTICAL GUIDE
Formats and frames
Understanding the formats before choosing your print
Each work in the SIGNATURE Edition Collection is offered in several standard sizes to suit all spaces, from a small intimate corner to a large living room wall.
These formats are designed to be easy to frame with commercially available frames, without the need for custom-made frames.

Square formats
They offer a beautiful symmetry and a contemporary look . They adapt well to centered or minimalist compositions.
- 30 × 30 cm → compact format, ideal for small spaces or multiple wall compositions.
- 40 × 40 cm → perfect balance between discretion and presence.
- 50 × 50 cm → standard “gallery” format, perfect alone or as a duo.
- 70 × 70 cm → immersive format, ideal for bringing a large room to life.

Rectangular formats (landscape or portrait)
Depending on the orientation of the work , these formats offer a dynamic horizontal reading ( landscape ) or vertical reading ( portrait ).
- 30 × 40 cm → compact format, easy to frame and display.
- 40 × 50 cm → classic balance, standard format in the trade.
- 50 × 70 cm → one of the most common, excellent impact/size ratio.
- 60 × 80 cm → generous format for an immersive experience.
- 70 × 100 cm → large size, guaranteed “gallery” effect.
- A0 ( 84.1 × 118.9 cm) → XL format and spectacular, perfect for a solo display or a large space.

Advice for supervision
The SIGNATURE Edition prints are printed on 200g matte finish paper , full cut (without white margin), for an immersive rendering and a natural depth of blacks and textures.
Choosing your frame
The formats offered correspond to standard sizes that can easily be found in framing , decoration , design , fine art supplies stores, as well as DIY stores or other stores distributing supplies related to interior design for the home .
The prints are designed to be displayed full image, without a mat, in order to accentuate the immersive effect.
Some possible finishes:
- Natural wood : warm and timeless.
- Aluminium : modern and sleek.
- PVC : lightweight and economical.
Each finish is often available in different shades.
Bl.é Art recommendation: 3D Box frames!
For an even more elegant and professional look , opt for a 3D Box frame (or “ American box ” frame). This type of framing creates a sense of depth between the print and the glass , giving the artwork a gallery-worthy presentation.
It particularly enhances full-cut and matte prints, reinforcing the perception of relief and visual immersion.
Glass or plexiglass?
I recommend anti-reflective glass , which protects the artwork while preserving its brightness and the richness of its nuances. Plexiglas is lighter, but tends to create reflections and accumulate static electricity.
Passe-partout or full cut?
The prints are designed to be displayed full image , without a mat, in order to accentuate the immersive effect .
However, you can add a passe-partout if you wish:
- Create a space for breathing around the image,
- Adapting a print to a slightly larger frame ,
- To play on a contrast of material or color.
