Right of withdrawal

In accordance with European regulations, consumers located in the European Union have a statutory period of fourteen (14) days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal.

The 14-day right of withdrawal applies to Fine Art Posters (open editions) for customers located within the European Union.

This right to change one's mind does not apply to:

  • Customers located outside the European Union (as the prints are produced on demand).
  • Limited Editions (regardless of location), due to their exclusive, numbered nature and their individualized production process on specific media (exception under Article L221-28 3° of the Consumer Code).

This limitation does not affect the customer's rights in the event of a damaged, defective, or non-conforming product.

Customers located in the European Union may use the "Cancellation & Withdrawal" form available on the site to submit a request.

Each request is reviewed individually based on the nature of the ordered product and applicable regulations.


1. Purpose

This policy defines the return and refund conditions applicable to orders placed on the bl-e.art website.

It applies to:

  • Fine Art Posters (open editions)
  • Limited Editions (numbered and signed art editions)

2. Eligibility conditions

A refund or return is possible only in the following cases:

  • product damaged during shipping
  • printing defect or non-conformity
  • order preparation error

Returns due to a change of mind are accepted only for Fine Art Posters, in accordance with the statutory right of withdrawal.

Limited Editions are not eligible for the right of withdrawal when they fall under the exception provided for in Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code. This provision does not affect the customer's rights in the event of a damaged, defective, or non-conforming product.


3. Claim timeframe

Any request must be made within 14 calendar days of receiving the order.


4. Procedure

For any request:

  2. Include the order number
  3. Provide photos of the product in question
  4. Wait for approval before proceeding with a return

5. Product returns

If a return is approved:

  • the product must be unused
  • it must be returned in its original packaging
  • it must be properly protected for shipping

Return shipping costs are covered only in the event of an error or defect attributable to Eric BLANCHOT.

When exercising the statutory right of withdrawal applicable to Fine Art Posters, return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed or required by mandatory legal provisions.

6. Refund

Après réception et vérification du produit retourné :

  • Refunds are processed within a maximum of 14 days of receipt of the returned product or proof of its shipment.
  • Refund issued via the original payment method

In the event of a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, the refund includes the price of the product in question as well as any standard delivery charges billed at the time of the order, in accordance with applicable regulations.


7. Products damaged during delivery

In the event of a damaged package:

  • keep the packaging
  • take photos before opening, if possible
