1. Introduction

The website bl-e.art (hereinafter the “Website”) is operated by Éric Blanchot, an artist-author operating as a sole proprietorship.

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern all sales made between Bl.é Art and any individual or legal entity purchasing products via the Website (hereinafter the “Customer”).

Placing an order implies full acceptance of these Terms.


2. Products

The Website offers two types of original artworks:

2.1 Fine Art Posters

Open, accessible, and timeless editions, produced on demand on high-quality materials.

2.2 Limited Editions

Limited, numbered and signed art editions, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Each product page provides detailed information regarding the artwork (format, materials, printing technique, finish).

Bl.é Art reserves the right to modify or remove any product at any time.


3. Prices

All prices are listed in euros (€), inclusive of taxes where applicable, excluding delivery fees.

Bl.é Art operates under the French VAT exemption scheme (Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code – VAT not applicable).

Prices may be changed at any time; however, the applicable price is the one in effect at the time of order confirmation.


4. Orders

The Customer selects products, validates the cart, and proceeds to payment after entering the required information.

The order becomes final once payment is confirmed.

Bl.é Art reserves the right to cancel any order in case of suspected fraud, obvious error, or payment issue.


5. Payment

Payments are processed securely via approved payment providers.

Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, and Klarna (depending on availability by country).

All transactions are encrypted and processed securely.


6. Delivery

6.1 Shipping zones

Fine Art Posters are shipped internationally, including but not limited to:

  • France (mainland and overseas territories)
  • European Union
  • Norway
  • United Kingdom
  • Switzerland
  • United States
  • Canada
  • Mexico

Limited Editions are currently shipped to:

  • Metropolitan France
  • European Union
  • Switzerland

6.2 Production and fulfillment

Fine Art Posters are made to order in order to reduce stock and optimize logistics.

When possible, products may be manufactured in a location close to the delivery destination to improve delivery times.


6.3 Delivery times

  • Production time (Fine Art Poster): 1–2 business days
  • Delivery time:
    • Metropolitan France: 2-8 business days
    • Overseas France: 5-15 business days
    • Europe: 2-15 business days
    • Norway: 5-15 business days
    • United Kingdom: 2-8 business days
    • Switzerland: 2-8 business days
    • United States: 4-10 business days
    • Canada: 4-10 business days
    • Mexico: 5-15 business days
  • Limited Editions: 10–15 business days production time before shipment

Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on seasonal demand or logistical constraints.


6.4 Shipping fees

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and order details.

Free shipping applies on orders over €60 for Fine Art Posters.


7. Customs duties and taxes

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties and local taxes may be applied by the destination country.

These fees are the responsibility of the Customer.


8. Right of withdrawal and returns

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-order or personalized products.

This includes Fine Art Posters produced on demand and certain Limited Editions produced after order confirmation.


9. Damaged or incorrect products

If a product is damaged or incorrect, the Customer must contact Bl.é Art within 14 days of receipt at:

  • order number
  • photos of the product
  • description of the issue

A suitable solution may be offered (replacement or refund depending on the case).


10. Liability

Bl.é Art shall not be held liable for delays or damages caused by carriers or circumstances beyond its control.


11. Intellectual property

All artworks displayed on the Website are the exclusive property of Bl.é Art / Éric Blanchot.

Any reproduction, distribution, or use without prior authorization is strictly prohibited.

Purchasing an artwork does not grant any reproduction rights.


12. Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Website’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations (GDPR).

No personal data is sold or shared for commercial purposes.


13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.


14. Changes to Terms

Bl.é Art reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

The applicable version is the one in effect at the time of the order.
