Graphic Art & Illustration

Bl.é is my artistic signature, a graphic pirouette born from the abbreviation of my name, Éric Blanchot, which has become a true field of exploration.

I compose with angular shapes, straight lines, and a strong black stroke. My work explores structure, clarity, and the energy of the line.
My practice is now evolving towards a more experimental style, with compositions built on interlocking colored rectangular backgrounds, where the line interacts modularly, at the crossroads of figuration and abstraction. Images are gradually revealed: legible from a distance, yet freer and more fragmented up close, they invite a sensitive and personal interpretation.

Between rigor and expression, my work seeks a visual balance, a style where the line becomes language.
