1. Preamble
The website bl-e.art (hereinafter "the Site") is published and operated by Eric BLANCHOT, an artist-creator operating as a sole proprietorship (EI).

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern sales concluded between Eric BLANCHOT and any individual or legal entity making a purchase on the Site (hereinafter "the Customer").
Placing an order implies full and complete acceptance of these GTCS.
2. Products
The Site offers two types of original creations:
2.1 Fine Art Posters
Open editions - accessible and timeless - printed on demand on high-quality paper.
2.2 Limited Editions
Limited art editions that are numbered and signed, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Each product page describes the essential characteristics of the artwork (format, medium, technique, finish).
Eric BLANCHOT reserves the right to modify or withdraw a product at any time.
3. Prices
Prices are indicated in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes, excluding delivery costs.
Eric BLANCHOT operates under the VAT exemption scheme for small businesses in accordance with Article 293 B of the General Tax Code (VAT not applicable).
Prices may be modified at any time, but products are billed based on the rates in effect at the time the order is placed.
4. Ordering
The Customer selects the products, confirms their shopping cart, and proceeds to payment after entering their details.
Before final confirmation of the order, the Customer has the opportunity to review the order details and total price, and to correct any errors. The order becomes final upon payment confirmation and receipt of the confirmation email.
The order is considered final once payment has been confirmed.
Eric BLANCHOT reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of suspected fraud, a manifest error, or a payment issue.
The computerized records kept in the systems of bl-e.art or its service providers constitute proof of the communications, orders, and payments exchanged between the parties.
5. Payment
Payments are secure and processed via authorized payment service providers.
Accepted payment methods include, but are not limited to: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Cartes Bancaires, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal, Bancontact, EPS, MobilePay, and Klarna (deferred payment or payment in installments, subject to eligibility).
All transactions are encrypted and secure.
6. Delivery
6.1 Delivery areas
Fine Art posters are delivered to numerous regions, including:
- Metropolitan France and Overseas Territories
- Norway
- United Kingdom
- Switzerland
- United States
- Canada
- Mexico
Limited Editions are currently delivered to:
- Metropolitan France
- European Union
- Switzerland
6.2 Production and shipping
Fine Art posters are produced on demand to minimize inventory and optimize logistics.
Whenever possible, artworks may be produced in a location close to the delivery address to optimize delivery times.
6.3 Estimated timeframes
- Production of Fine Art posters: 1 to 2 business days
- Delivery:
- Metropolitan France: 2 to 8 business days
- French Overseas Territories: 5 to 15 business days
- European Union: 2 to 15 business days
- Norway: 5 to 10 business days
- United Kingdom: 2 to 8 business days
- Switzerland: 2 to 8 business days
- United States: 4 to 10 business days
- Canada: 4 to 10 business days
- Mexico: 5 to 15 business days
- Limited Editions: 10 to 15 business days before shipment
These timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on the season or logistical constraints.
6.4 Delivery costs
Costs are calculated automatically at the time of ordering.
Delivery is free for orders of Fine Art posters totaling €60 or more.
7. Customs and international taxes
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties and local taxes may be applied by the authorities of the destination country.
These costs are the responsibility of the Customer.
8. Right of withdrawal and returns (European Union consumers)
8.1 Fine Art posters (Open editions)
- Customers residing in the European Union: In accordance with Article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, EU consumer customers have a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without the need to provide a reason. Return costs are borne exclusively by the Customer. Eric BLANCHOT will refund the price of the returned products, as well as the standard delivery charges initially billed at the time of the order, within 14 days of receiving the products back in new condition and in their original packaging.
- Customers residing outside the European Union: Sales of Fine Art Prints shipped outside the European Union are final. No right of withdrawal based on a change of mind may be exercised. Only claims regarding products damaged during transit or non-conforming products (Article 9) will be considered.
8.2 Limited Editions
In accordance with Article L221-28 3° of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized. Limited Editions offered on the Site may fall under the exception provided for in Article L221-28 3° of the Consumer Code when they are produced individually, numbered, signed, or manufactured according to specific characteristics determined after the order is placed. In such cases, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised, unless otherwise provided by law or in the event of a non-conforming product.
9. Damaged or Non-Conforming Products
In the event of a damaged or non-conforming product, the Customer must contact Eric BLANCHOT within 14 days of receipt at: 📩 eric@bl-e.art

- description of the issue
An appropriate solution may be proposed (replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances).
10. Liability
Eric BLANCHOT shall not be held liable for delays or damage caused by carriers or by circumstances beyond its control.
Neither party shall be held liable for any failure to perform resulting from an event of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
11. Intellectual Property
All works displayed on the Site are the exclusive property of Eric BLANCHOT.
Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited.
The purchase of a work does not confer any reproduction rights.
12. Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Site’s Privacy Policy and applicable regulations (GDPR).
No data is sold to third parties.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the Customer is encouraged to contact Eric BLANCHOT first to seek an amicable solution.
In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code regarding the "consumer dispute mediation process," after contacting us - and failing a satisfactory response - you have the option to use a free consumer mediation procedure with:

The Customer remains free to accept or refuse mediation and retains the right, should mediation fail, to bring the matter before the competent courts.
Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute shall be brought before the competent courts in accordance with general legal rules (and, where applicable, the court of the consumer's place of residence within the European Union).

14. Amendment of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Eric BLANCHOT reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time.
The applicable terms and conditions are those in effect on the date of the order.
